He’s My Kingdom Work Partner
This man right here: he’s my kingdom work partner.
(Warning: I’m gonna get a little sappy about my hubby here.)
He’s a godly man. Like, we both love Jesus and I know how rare that is for kids to have two, God-fearing parents.
This guy right here reads his Bible every day and shows his kids what it’s like to have a relationship with God. He shows them God’s love by exhibiting the love of their Heavenly Father here on earth.
I’ve said it before: motherhood is kingdom work. Well, I’m grateful that I’m not doing this alone. This work is not all on my shoulders because my husband is right there discipling our babies along with me.
I know for a lot of you reading this, that may not be the case for you. You may be a single mama and there is no parenthood partner in this. And some of you may be the spiritual leader for your home.
I get it.
But I’m praying you’re not fully alone in this motherhood ministry. I pray you have someone, anyone, to lean in to and help you lead your kiddos to Jesus.
Because motherhood is hard. It’s kingdom work, yes, but gosh is it hard.
And that’s why it’s not meant to be done alone.
