Motherhood is my God-Given Purpose
I am not “just a mom.”
I’m God’s handiwork—His masterpiece.
I am fearfully and wonderfully made with a purpose that He has laid out for me.
Yes, my days are mundane and my degree is hanging on the wall, not being used.
But I am caring for God’s children every day.
I’m changing diapers and wiping boogers from noses.
I’m singing nursery rhymes and teaching ABCs and 123s.
I feel like a maid some days and I avoid laundry.
But I’m raising the next generation of disciples.
There are only two toddlers I report to every day and they are far more demanding than the demands of an office.
But I’m furthering God’s kingdom every day, in a million different ways.
No, I’m not “just a mom.”
Motherhood is my God-given purpose.
It’s my calling.
And it’s the best job I’ve ever had.
