You’re the Love of My Life

You saw me for me. 

I never felt as though I needed to pretend with you. I was able to just be me. 

You get me. 

It’s scary sometimes how much you get my mood or can read my thoughts because you just understand me and know me so well. 

You make me feel beautiful. 

Even on the days where my hair isn’t combed and there’s no makeup on this face. You make me feel like I’m the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen. 

You are so selfless. 

Seriously, you’re always helping me and giving me a break from the kids but you never complain or take a break for yourself. I don’t know how you do it, babe, but thank you. 

You helped heal me. 

In so many ways that I didn’t even know I needed to be healed. You fixed the broken parts of my heart. 

You calm my anxiety. 

When the anxious thoughts start to swell up inside me, you’re on it and you’re able to help me through it and calm me down. 

You make me laugh. 

Whether it’s playing around and joking with me or watching you chase our kids around, you’re always putting a smile on my face. 

You have my heart. 

You are the only one for me. 

You’re my other half. 

You’re the love of my life. 

For better or for worse. 

And I thank God every day that He brought us together.
