He’s The Dad

I found my soulmate when I found my husband. He is my best friend. He completely gets me and knows me better than anyone else. 

And while he’s the perfect match for me, I also found the perfect dad for my kids when I found him. I choose him and fall even more in love with him every day because of the dad he is. 

He’s the dad that when 5 o’clock comes around, he’s taking the kids off my hands without a break for himself and is right back at it.

He’s the dad running around the house playing chase with a toddler. 

He’s the dad who’s up every night with the baby, even though he works and I don’t, the night shift is an equal deal. 

He’s the dad watching the kids at the family gatherings while Mama is relaxing and socializing.

He’s the dad that changes the poopy diapers all weekend long because he knows I’ve done it all week. 

He’s the dad that builds blanket forts and can entertain a toddler for hours on end. 

He’s the dad that shows his son how to build things and fix things with tools. 

He’s the dad that will dance around the kitchen with our baby girl in his arms. 

So when I say that he’s perfect, I don’t mean he’s just perfect for me. No, I mean I found the perfect man for me AND my kids. Parenthood is a new adventure and I can’t imagine a better partner for this journey.
